Hi,
I’ve been thinking a lot lately in giving a try and join the “surprise eggs” YouTube trend .
In case you are not familiar with this super viral stuff, thats people doing videos of kinder surprise eggs opening, in every egg there’s a small toy and they are showing it to the camera… there are videos with ten of millions of views, simply ineradicable results.
So I went and bought a couple of dozens of eggs and set up this:
- One bulb on the right
- two white kappa sheets and we are of to go…
- I started the sessions with my nice Fuji x20 camera, but found it not convenient to use because of lack of manual video controls. I switched than to a more capable Panasonic HDC-900 camera.
- Still have to figure out the best video editing settings – I’m currently using hitfilm4 who is a superb free to use editing software, extremely recommended
I’d appreciate it if you’ll take a minute and watch the video and give it a thumb up

Will update you guys on the number of view
If you want to edit images from the video and process them using LightRoom, I’d recommend those free (some paid) LightRoom presets click here for more information
